Dr. Larry's (DC, LAc.) BACK TO LIFE DVD program is a wonderful program for anyone with any sort of back ailment, or anyone who simply wants to strenghten their back. As a pediatrician, I am regularly caring for young patients with sports-related back injuries. I am grateful to have Dr. Larry's (DC, LAc.) program to give to my teenagers as a safe and practical program to fit into their busy schedules, and most importantly, to bring them "Back to Life".

Dear Dr. Grogin (DC, LAc.),

I have been a Personal Trainer in Northern New Jersey for approximately 8 years. I've also suffered a fractured L5 vertebra about 10 years ago at the age of 24 after falling 12 feet from a forklift. I'm writing you after viewing your "BACK TO LIFE" Series because of the impact it made on me.

My physical therapy consisted of only a few of the exercise and stretches that your videos go into. They were shown to me with little regard to form, and I was not educated as to what to do on my own.

Soon after rehabbing my back, I returned to college and ultimately received a degree in Exercise Physiology. During my studies, I began trying to move again and regain some of the strength I had before the accident. I applied much of my background in biomechanics to the therapy I had originally learned from the therapists, only to realize in my new understanding of the body's mechanics, how much my health was disregarded during the therapy.

Your "BACK TO LIFE" Series begins viewers with the basics in terms of beginning to move again after a debilitating spinal problem. As the Series progresses, the viewer is brought through a full spectrum of stretches and exercises that strengthen and increase the flexibility of the spine, hips and shoulders.

Your 'hands-on' involvement with the demonstrators in the videos, and your explanations of the execution and benefits of the movements truly gives the viewer an understanding of their rehabilitation process.

Much of my return-to-health process has revolved around proper form with strength training movements and a balance of 'core' training, not to mention stretching. Your demonstrations in the "BACK TO LIFE" Series pleased me when I saw you teaching what I've learned through the movement sciences as the correct approach to movement rehabilitation. I've learned and comprehended even more after watching your "BACK TO LIFE" Series, and modified a few of the movements I perform with clients.

Rehabilitation is work. It takes commitment. You are there for the viewer every step of the way. Your "BACK TO LIFE" Series makes it easy for someone to stick with a program long enough to see and feel an improvement in their bodies.

My favorite portion in the Series is the "Maintenance" video. It really does show how easy it is for anyone to perform as little as a 5 minute routine in order to keep moving once they have achieved relief from back pain.

Thanks for the positive reinforcement,
